* These Committees are Standing Committees of the Community Youth Support Scheme (CYSS) State Advisory Committees in each State. In addition to the listed members, the Executive Officer, CYSS and the CYSS Training Officer in State Offices of the Department of Employment and Industrial Relations are ex-officio members of these Committees.
(1) The Minister has agreed to pay sitting fees to non-government representatives on the CYSS Training and Development Committees at Category 1 rates as detailed in part 6 of the Remuneration Tribunal's 1984 Determination.
(2) All Committee members are eligible to receive payments to cover travel costs and out-of-pocket expenses incurred as a result of their membership of the Committee. Travel allowance, where appropriate, is determined in accordance with parts 6 and 7 of the Remuneration Tribunal's 1984 Determination.

* ITCs are voluntary, tripartite, industry based bodies; members are appointed by those bodies and may be appointed for a set period or indefinite. The bulk of the national ITCs have networks of State/Territory ITCs established to effect objectives at that level.
** ITC members are not remunerated; Cmonwealth Government Department representatives are paid remuneration and travelling allowance in their capacity as Commonwealth Government Officers.
*** The Commonwealth through the Industry Training Services Program provides ITCs with grants for member travel. These are based on a formula with ITCs determining how funds provided are allocated. ITC members have their fares and accommodation requirement met significantly, but not in all cases totally, from such funds.
