Good flavor and value

Filling, very acidic. I recommend a small lemon, no salt and consider 1/2 the marinara. I added 9 oz of tofu, seared it and then cubed it. May even consider 28 oz whole peeled tomatoes and omit marinara altogether.

Turned out great. I used 28oz whole tomatoes, 2 cans chickpeas, 16oz feta, and omitted the salt. Next time I will only use 8oz of feta as per recipe.

it was good but I think next time I'll try it with goat cheese instead,to make it more creamy.

I was pretty overwhelmed by how overly tangy this recipe is. The lemon juice on top of the marinara on top of the extra tomatoes caused it to be way too acidic for my tastes.

This was divine! I did omit about half of the salt, and extended the time in the oven to approximately 18 minutes. I even used a cheap brand of marinara and it still tasted so good. I also think it would be better if the recipe stated the actual volume of lemon juice to add since not all lemons are created equal in the volume of juice produced. I left out about 2 teaspoons of juice because I used a large lemon that was extra juicy, but did add all the zest! Definitely adding to our rotation. I do think it may be problematic for people with GERD, as are most tomato based recipes.

Easy to prepare. The feta cheese and red crushed peppers made it so tasty. I added more crushed peppers. I will make it again.

The recipe was simple and quick. My wife and I enjoyed the meal, however, next time, I would use half of the recommended lemon. I love lemon but the flavor overpowered the other flavors in the dish. We both have agreed that this is a recipe to repeat.

I like it. It has a nice tang to it. I used garlic from a tube instead of fresh garlic, and diced tomatoes instead of whole. Yum.

Sooo good!! I skipped the oven part as it was nice and thick already. I used feta crumbles instead of the big chunks, which I think helped to thicken the sauce. It was pretty spicy, which I liked, and the hint of lemon with the garlic really set it off. I will definitely make this again!

I love this. Even better the second day for lunch! We leave out the marinara and double the chickpeas.

Switched it marinara with vodka sauce. Very good.

Turned out very well. A big hit here. My husband had it for breakfast the next day with an egg on top.

Going on my list of favourites added some cumin just because I love it

I added 1 cup chicken bouillon to make it a little less thick. I also added Italian seasoning to make it taste like an Italian vegetable soup. Yummy!

I don't like feta so I tried it with goat cheese and it was awesome! Ate it with a baguette on the side... easy, quick, super tasty!

used cherry tomatoes, was very yummy 😋😋😋

The marinara was too much, and the feta cheese sorta ruined it for me. Next time i will reduce the marinara and omit the feta

I liked it, but I would make the recipe call for crushed tomatoes and not whole tomatoes (roughly crushed). I should have drained the tomato can as well, it was overwhelming with all of the marinara too.

This turned out great. Very tasty! I would suggest actually adding the spinach in before putting the dish in the oven. Also, I added a lot more chili flakes to give it some extra kick. Everyone was happy with this meal and it makes great leftovers. Yum!

I love making this over and over.

I skipped the oven, because I didn't have a skillet that could be put in oven and was too lazy to transfer. Turned out great anyway!

It was okay, nothing special.

I used half the amount of marinara, and used diced tomatoes instead of whole peeled tomatoes. went really light on lemon juice as well. it was good, even better on bread. but it was a little too acidic

I like to double the feta to make it a bit more substantial, and I just use diced tomatoes instead if whole tomatoes. This is definitely a weeknight staple!
