Of the 26 players who remain, there are many big names left in the field. Notable players such as Shaun Deeb, Benny Glaser, Robert Mizrachi and John Hennigan who is fresh off of winning Event #7: $1,500 Dealer's Choice (6-Handed).
There were several stars of the poker world knocked out during Day 2, including Daniel Negreanu , Phil Hellmuth, Erik Seidel, Chris Brewer, Josh Arieh, Mike Matusow, and Stephen Chidwick to name a few.
Another notable knockout happened when Allen Kessler showed the nuts before he was all in on the turn after mistakenly thinking his opponent had raised him all in. However, the river no longer gave Kessler the best hand, and after his opponent put him all in for his last 6,000 chips, he was eliminated.
After 23 hands of hand-for-hand play, Patrick Leonard was the unfortunate bubble boy after being forced to go all in from the big blind.
